This site is a tribute to George (known by most as Roy). He is much loved and will always be remembered.

This photo means so much to us. Big George and little George, 87 years apart but they share a name and a birthday.

George adored his Grandad, and the feeling was utterly mutual. Our dad was only able to meet George twice before his passing however the bond was instant and he brought such a smile to dads face. Our dad came to understand CF much more in the last few months and, in younger times, it would’ve motivated him to continue in his lifelong passion for science to help find a cure for his Grandson.

On the last time they met, our dad bought a book for George (his second love - books!) called ‘Happy’. A perfect line from this book is ”I know that you are happy when you try out something new. And if you don’t succeed at first, I’ll help until you do”.
Dad was always there to help and show us the way and we will make sure that little George always has the support and love behind him that his Grandad gave us.
